If you’ve been thinking about becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) but need a class schedule that works around your job, family, or other daytime responsibilities, Dalrada Career Institute has something new coming soon.

DCI is preparing to offer a new evening CNA class option, giving students more flexibility while they train for a career in healthcare.

A More Flexible Way to Complete CNA Training

Finding time to go back to school isn’t always easy. Many students are balancing work, family responsibilities, and other commitments while trying to take the next step toward a new career.

DCI’s upcoming evening CNA option is designed to provide more flexibility by combining online coursework with in-person hands-on training.

  • 60 hours of online theory: Complete the lecture portion virtually and at your own pace, without having to come to campus for class.
  • In-person lab training to develop and practice essential CNA skills
  • Evening clinical training from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM for hands-on experience in a clinical setting

The evening option is planned as a 50-day schedule with 160 total hours of training, combining online theory, in-person lab instruction, and clinical experience.

Choose the CNA Schedule That Works for You

DCI will continue to offer its 22-day fast-track CNA program for students who want to complete their training on an accelerated schedule.

The new evening option provides another path for students who need greater flexibility. With the 60-hour lecture portion completed online at your own pace, you can work through the theory coursework around your schedule and come in person for the hands-on lab and clinical portions of your training.

Whether you choose the accelerated 22-day schedule or the new evening option, DCI’s CNA training combines theory, lab instruction, and clinical experience to help students develop the skills they need for patient care.

Why Become a Certified Nursing Assistant?

CNAs are an important part of the healthcare team. They work closely with patients and support nurses and other healthcare professionals with essential day-to-day care.

For many students, becoming a CNA is an opportunity to enter the healthcare field relatively quickly, gain valuable patient-care experience, and begin building a foundation for future career growth.
