Hybrid Medical Office Assistant Training with an Externship
Prepare to support patients and healthcare teams with Dalrada Career Institute’s Medical Office Assistant (MOA) program. The 280-hour program combines medical office instruction and lab training with a supervised externship, giving students the opportunity to practice what they learn in a healthcare setting.
Medical Office Assistants help keep clinics, hospitals, and private practices running smoothly. They greet patients, schedule appointments, manage medical records, and communicate with patients and clinical staff. They may also support insurance, billing, and other front-office tasks.
At DCI, students study medical terminology, front-office procedures, electronic health records, medical documentation, health insurance, billing and coding fundamentals, patient communication, and medical laws and ethics. The program also includes career preparation.
