How long is the CNA Training Program?
22 Days of instruction
- Weekday CNA: Monday through Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm
10 Weeks
- Weekend CNA: Saturday and Sunday, 7 am – 3:30 pm
Do I have to have a High School Diploma or GED?
No. You can provided one of the following documents or take an Assesment Exam at our office
- US High School Diploma or Transcript Copy
- US GED Diploma or Transcript Copy
- US College Diploma or Transcript Copy
What is the Wonderlic Assesment?
The Wonderlic Assesement is an 1 hour long assesment consisting of basic Math & English. You can schedule a Wonderlic Assessment Exam by scheduling an appointment.
How old do I have to be?
Minimum age is 16 years old
Do I have to be COVID-19 Vaccinated?
Nursing homes may require COVID-19 vaccinations and or medical/religious exemptions for the Clinical Training.
Do I have to have a background check to attend the program? If I have any prior convictions other than a minor traffic violation, can I still take CNA training?
You can take the CNA training, but your live scan has to be cleared by the DOJ to get a license through CDPH. We recommend you do the live scan first before taking the class. Any further questions, pls email CDPH with your inquiry.
Is there an exam at the end of the course?
We have 4 quizzes and a final exam during the 8 Theory days.
Where can I work as a CNA?
You can work at nursing homes, agency with one-on-one clients, and hospitals.
Can I work outside of California?
You will need to transfer your CNA license to that particular state.
Requirements to take a CNA class
US government-issued photo ID, social security card, Medical Clearance Documentation: Physical exam, TB Skin Test, QuantiFeron, or Chest X-Ray and Covid-19 vaccination record or religious exemption upon nursing homes.
Flu Shots will be required during flu season (October-March)

Home Health Aid (HHA)
How long is the HHA program?
- 40 hours including clinical training
- Weekend: 7 am to 3:30 pm (3 Saturdays and 2 Sundays)
What are the requirements?
- Copy of Valid US ID & Social Security Card
- Active CNA License
- Copy of High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalency. If you do not have any of the documents, you will need to take the Wonderlic Assesment
- Medical Clearance Documentation (Physcial Exam, TB Test, Covid Vaccines/Exemption Form, BLS Certification, and Flu Shot)
All Documents are due by the first day of class
Where can I work as an HHA?
You can work at licensed home agencies to provide basic nursing care in private homes or hospice programs.
Is there an exam at the end?
Quizzes and a final exam during Theory sessions.
HHA CEU renewal information:
Must obtain 24 hours of In-Service training/CEUs within the certification period. 12 of the 24 hours are required in each year of the two-year certification period. HHAs may not use online CEUs to meet the renewal requirement.

Medical Assistant (MA)
How long is the Medical Assistant Program?
- 10-week theory and lab (160 hrs) plus 160 hours of Externship.
- Total of 320 hours
Is the Medical Assistant program hybrid learning?
Yes, the Medical Assistant Program offers in-person and virtual learning.

Do I have to take a Wonderlic Exam?
Yes. You need to take the Wonderlic SLEQ Exam before you can register for the program.
The exam is about 11 mins long with about 30-45 questions

Is a Medical Assistant Certification needed in California?
According to the Medical Board of California: Medical Assistants are NOT required to be licensed or certified by the State of California.
Where can I take my certification test?
After completing the 10-week program and 160-hour externship, MA students can apply for the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) MA certification.

What is the age requirement for the MA program?
The minimum age requirement is 18 years old

Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN)
How long is the Licensed Vocational Nursing Program?
Program Length: 13 months Full Time
LVN Program Schedule
Full Time: Monday-Friday. Starting time will be around 7am-8am

What is the HESI Exam?
The HESI Exam is a 2 hour enterance exam. It consists of 3 subjects: Critical Thinking, Reading Comprehension, and Math.
Math & Reading Comprehension has 55 questions each and Critical Thinking has 33 Questions.
You have 3 tries in 1 year to take it. The 3 tries will reset at the beginning of the year.
The HESI exam is only valid for 1 year.

Where can I take the HESI Exam?
You can take the HESI Exam at our facility. The exam cost $64-$66 per exam.

Do I have to take the HESI Exam before registring for the VN Program?
Yes. You will need to take the HESI exam and pass the Reading Comprehension & Math Subjects with a 70% each
What are the requirements to register for the LVN Program?
We do not have any requirements or prerequisites to join the program but you must have the following documents to be proceed forward with the program.
- Valid US ID & Social Security Card Copy
- US High School Official transcript, GED, or equivalency
- HESI Exam Score showing you have passed the Math and Reading Comprehension with the minimum score
If I have done received my degrees from another country, can I still join the LVN Program?
Yes you can still join the program. You will need to have your highest degree evaluated and translated prior to the start of the program.

If I already took the HESI Exam elsewhere, can I use those scores?
If the minimum scores have been met for the Reading Comprehension & Math subjects and was done with 1 year, we are able to accept your score.
What are the next steps to take once I have the HESI Exam?
Once you are passed the HESI exam, you will need to go through a DON interview and a financial meeting with our director.
What medical clearance documentations do I need for the program?
You need the following documents
- Physcial Exam
- TB Quantiferon or Chest X Ray
- Updated Immunizations
- BLS Certification
Do I need to get a Drug Test and Background Check before the program starts?
Yes, you will need to get a drug test and background check before the start of the program.
Is your school approved to have the LVN Program?
We are approved through the Board of Professional Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).
Once I am done with the LVN program, where can I work?
